Unveiled proprietary impact scoring system, the Altura Impact Score™ (AIS™).
2021
Launched Altura Small & Lower Middle Market Debt and Equity Impact Strategy.
2020
Launched Altura EOZ strategy.
2019
Launched SCD (Scale, Convert, Divest) model™ in partnership with Billion Dollar Roundtable.
2015
Principals of Altura Launch Small Business Community Capital (SBCC) one of the 9 SBIC impact funds in the country; Monika became the first Latina to be granted an SBIC license in history.
2013
Hired by a large insurance company to allocate $300 million in an emerging manager program, including US Large Cap, US Small Cap and International Equity.
2012
Altura partnered with AllianceBernstein to create a public-private partnership with U.S. Treasury.
2011
Selected by significant public pension funds around the country to collaborate on an advisory and database management project.
2010
Altura developed research and capital solutions for small and diverse businesses that allowed the firm to begin preparing to launch a private equity arm.

Monika Mantilla was invited as a Capital Advisor to the Billion Dollar Roundtable, and helped develop a framework to scale diverse-owned businesses.
2009
Selected as a sub-advisor to AllianceBernstein in the CPP asset management mandate to provide Manager of Manager services for the U.S. Treasury, and as a sub-advisor to AllianceBernstein for its PPIP strategy.
2008
Released the Emerging Manager Information Platform, a groundbreaking, web-based application for institutional investors.

The Platform provided research, data analytics, due diligence, market intelligence, and collaborative tools. The tool became widely used by many of the largest institutional investors in the country and the world.
2006
Launched extensive database to broaden diversity investment opportunities for public and private pension funds, promote transparency and access to capital, and develop a better understanding of emerging investment firms.
2005
Awarded a mandate to provide consulting services to a group of U.S. institutional investors.
