EconomistDiego Castillo is an Economist at Altura Capital, where he conducts macroeconomic research and applies quantitative economic analysis to support the firm’s investment strategy. His work focuses on assessing macroeconomic conditions, analyzing sector-level economic trends, and developing economic frameworks used to evaluate market dynamics across target industries. Diego holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and brings an economics-grounded analytical perspective to the firm’s research processes.
Diego joined Altura in 2025 as an Economist, where he conducts macroeconomic and sector-level economic research to inform the firm's investment strategy.
Originally from Mexico City, Diego brings an international perspective to his economic research work at Altura Capital. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and following soccer.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University, where he developed a foundation in international economics, trade policy, and cross-border market dynamics.
