Santiago Rueda
Operating Partner - Head of Innovation and AISantiago Rueda leads Altura Capital’s innovation and AI strategy, bringing over two decades of experience at the intersection of fintech, data, and strategic transformation. With a career spanning leadership roles in the U.S., Colombia, and Spain, he has built and scaled digital platforms, integrated AI and analytics into financial services, and advised businesses on leveraging emerging technologies to fuel growth.
Before joining Altura, Santiago led the digital transformation of cross-border mortgage services at Viventa, where he held senior roles in strategy and innovation. He also served as a consultant for fintechs and SMBs across the Americas, and previously held strategic and financial positions within several leading financial institutions in Colombia.
He is a published author (Finanzas Personales para Inmigrantes), holds an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from IAE Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
