Joanne joined Altura Capital as Vice President of Strategy, bringing decades of experience in leadership and operations
Joanne began her career with American Airlines, advancing from customer service to senior management and ultimately serving as General Manager in San Jose, California. She later brought her leadership and operational expertise to Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial ventures, including serving as Chief Executive Officer at On Air Parking, where she led the company’s turnaround to profitability through strategic partnerships, process optimization, and team development.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Joanne values family, integrity, and service, principles that guide both her professional and personal life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her blended family of four children and supporting their many activities.
She earned her B.S. in Aviation Management (magna cum laude) and continues to bring her organizational, operational, and strategic expertise to advance Altura Capital’s mission of creating inclusive and sustainable growth.
